Traders said stockists buying on the back of upsurge in demand against restricted supplies from producing regions mainly led to rise in select pulses.
In the national capital, gram edged up to Rs 3,125-3,625 from previous level of Rs 2,825-3,525, while its dal local and best quality traded higher by Rs 200 each to Rs 3,825-4,025 and Rs 3,975-4,075 per quintal, respectively.
Masoor small and bold advanced by Rs 200 each to Rs 4,500-4,750 and Rs 4,700-4,800 and its dal local and best quality traded higher by similar margin to Rs 5,350-5,450 and Rs 5,450-5,550 per quintal, respectively.
