The decision was made in the IBF's 18th Annual General Meeting convened in the national capital.
The IBF board members also elected K Madhavan (Asianet Communications), N P Singh (Sony Pictures Network), Rajat Sharma (India TV) and Sudhanshu Vats (Viacom 18 India) as vice presidents of the IBF for a second consecutive term, it said in a statement.
Aroon Purie was elected as the treasurer of the foundation. Prasar Bharati CEO Shashi S Vempati was also co- opted as the director on the Board.
The IBF was set up in September, 1999 to promote and represent the interests of television broadcasters in India.
