Punjab Agriculture summit from Feb 16

Punjab Government today announced that Progressive Punjab Agriculture Summit will begin on February 16 at Chappar Chiri in Mohali, aiming to give a push to state's farm economy.
Besides domestic experts, delegates from several countries including Canada, US, Holland, Italy, Israel, Taiwan are expected to participate in the four-day summit to showcase latest technology in farm space, official spokesperson said.
Reviewing the arrangements of this forthcoming event in a meeting here, Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal said it would benefit farmers to update their skills from interacting with agri-experts during various sessions.
He asked chairman of Punjab Farmers Commission GS Kalkat to work out modalities to finalise various technical sessions to be held during the summit.
