Badal was monitoring the progress of MRSAFPI with its Director Major General (Retd) B S Grewal, an official spokesman said here.
The Chief Minister asked the Chief Administrator of Greater Mohali Area Development Authority (GMADA), the agency entrusted with the project, to ensure that the state-of-the- art institute be completed before the start of the next academic session in April.
Badal was apprised by GMADA officials that all the construction works in the institute were being executed at brisk speed.
Infrastructural needs of the institute including sewage, approach roads, and facilities of shooting range and water heating system, would be in place by the end of the current financial year.
