Punjab DGP H S Dhillon given charge of law and order

Punjab police today transferred 11 IPS officers, including three of DGP rank, an official spokesperson said.
DGP Hardeep Dhillon, who was holding the charge of Internal Vigilance Cell (IVC) and welfare, has been given the key posting of law and order. ADGP Rohit Chaudhary, who was in charge of law and order, has been shifted as ADGP Railways, the spokesperson said.
Senior IPS officer Jasminder Singh, who was holding DGP Railways post, has been shifted as DGP of IVC. M K Tiwari has been given the charge of DGP Administration while I P S Sahota has been appointed as ADGP Prisons.
Senior IPS officer Sanjeev Kalra has been appointed as ADGP Welfare while B K Bawa has been given the charge of ADGP-cum-Commandant General, Punjab Home Guards.
IPS officer Gaurav Yadav has been appointed as ADGP Security while Kuldeep Singh has been placed as ADGP Armed Battalions Jalandhar, the spokesperson said, adding Anita Punj has been shifted as IGP Training while Rakesh Aggarwal has been appointed as IGP CM security.
