Punjab govt attaches SP-rank officer with Amarinder

Punjab government today attached a Superintendent of Police-rank officer with new state Congress chief Captain Amarinder Singh, who is also a sitting MP from Amritsar.
"The Punjab government in an order issued here today has deputed Mandhir Singh, PPS, SP Vigilance Bureau, Chandigarh with Capt Amarinder Singh, former Chief Minister, Punjab," an official spokesman said here.
This posting has been done on administrative grounds, the spokesman said.
