Punjab Govt notifies Zirakpur as sub-tehsil

The Punjab Government today said it has notified the formation of Zirakpur as Sub-Tehsil.
Disclosing this here today, an official spokesperson of the Revenue, Rehabilitation and Disaster Management Department said that formed under Section-5 of Punjab land Revenue Act, 1887 (Act 17 of 1887), this new sub-tehsil has been notified within Dera Bassi Tehsil of SAS Nagar district with headquarters at Zirakpur.
