Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal would preside over these 'sangat darshans', which will be held at Moga on December 28, Jalandhar on January 16, and Ludhiana on January 17, an official spokesman said.
To facilitate maximum number of NRIs to get their issues, problems or complaints resolved, entire state has been divided into three parts, he said, adding, an email address has been created to receive the complaints or problems of NRIs well in advance by December 15 so that required information or action could be taken and concerned officers should remain available on the occasion.
Sanjay Kumar, Principal Secretary, NRI Affairs today reviewed the required arrangements for conduct of these NRI meetings with Deputy Commissioners of Moga, Jalandhar, and Ludhiana through video-conferencing.
He directed them to ensure the availability of concerned officers so that the participating NRIs shouldn't face any problem and actual status of their complaints could be put before the Chief Minister and NRI Affairs Minister.
