Disclosing this here today, an official spokesman said that Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal reviewed the arrangements made by the Health department for this camp, to be inaugurated by state Governor Shivraj V Patil, during a high-level meeting held at the chief minister's residence here.
Principal Secretary, Health and Family Welfare Vini Mahajan informed in the meeting that during this camp 150 to 200 specialist doctors from 14 different disciplines of medical science were likely to participate and would examine about 10,000 patients in two days.
During the camp, medicines would be distributed free of cost, he added.
Badal directed the health officials to organise such camps from time to time in the rural of the state so that maximum people could avail these benefits.
The chief minister also called upon the specialist doctors of various renowned private health institutions to join this venture of the state government.
