Punjab, Haryana witness dry weather

Patiala and Ludhiana recorded identical maximums of 35.5 deg C each, both up by two notches, the weather office said here.

Amritsar recorded a high of 34.6 deg C, up by one degree.

Chandigarh had a clear sky today and the high here settled at 34 deg C, up two degrees.

In Haryana, Hisar recorded a high of 35.2 deg C, up two degrees while the maximum recorded at Bhiwani was 35 deg C.

Ambala registered a high of 35 deg C, two notches above normal, Rohtak's high was 34.9 deg C, Karnal recorded a high of 34 deg C while Narnaul's maximum settled at 34.2 deg C.

The MeT has forecast light to moderate rain or thunder showers would occur at a few places in Haryana and Punjab during the next two days.
