Punjab to get three new judicial complexes

Disclosing this here today, PWD Minister Sharanjit Singh Dhillon said that the judicial complexes would come up at Mohali, Gidderbaha and Fazilka and the construction work would start from December this year.

Dhillon said that already five under-construction administrative complexes worth Rs 270 crore at Tarn Taran, Barnala, Ferozepur, Kapurthala and Ajitgarh would also become operational after March 2013.

Besides this, the minister informed that under this campaign the state would also witness 10 state-of-art Tehsil Complexes at Kharar, Tapa, Chamkaur Sahib, Dhuri, Bholath, Jagraon, Dera Baba Nanak, Moonak, Patran and Budhlada, which were on the edge of completion.

He said that Rs 33 crore would be spent on construction of the complexes.

The under-construction judicial complexes at Kapurthala, Pathankot, Ferozepur, Gurdaspur, Barnala, Sardulgarh, Tarn Taran, Zira, Malout and Batala would become operational by the end of next year.
