Punjab transport department implements e-governance system

Work related to registration of vehicles has been fully computerised by the Punjab transport department following implementation of e-governance system today.

The department has uploaded information regarding all registered vehicles on the website punjabtransport.org, an spokesperson of the department said.

People could check the particulars of their vehicles by clicking on the link 'Registration Data Verification' at the website's home page.

In case of any discrepancy in the particulars of a vehicle, the owner can get it rectified by submitting an application to the concerned district transport officer, the spokesperson added.
