An official spokesman of the Bureau said it has come to their notice that some persons are impersonating as officers of the bureau. They are calling on government servants, threatening them that they have received complaints of corruption against them and then, on the pretext of settling the matter, demanding money from them.
The public have been urged to report the matter to the nearest police station if a government servant receives a call from someone claiming to be a Vigilance Bureau officer and asking for money, the spokesman added.
