Pusad police station head constable caught accepting bribe

A head constable bearing buckle number 2426, attached to the Pusad city police station, namely Kacharu Tukaram Bhalerao (43) was caught red-handed by the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Tuesday while accepting a bribe of Rs 700 from a complainant.
According to Yavatmal's Deputy Superintendent of Police (ACB) Satish Deshmukh, the head constable approached the complainant and promised to get an arrest warrant against him cancelled, for which he demanded a bribe of Rs 700.
The complainant agreed to concede the demand and later filed a complaint with the Yavatmal ACB unit, which caught the accused head constable red-handed while accepting the bribe amount and arrested him.
Meanwhile, the Pusad court has issued a warrant against the complainant.
