People can watch the Durga Puja and get a feel of the festivities on their mobile phones and also by logging in to the website - www.Puja.Dhanbadonline.Com for three days beginning today, said Nawneet Naman, director of a web designing company, which has developed the website.
"The devotees have to just download the application 'Durgotsava' from the Google Play-store on their mobile phones and enjoy the Pujas," he said.
"The website will be connected to CCTV cameras installed in the pandals and will beam live footage of the darshan and other activities from Mahashaptami.
The online service would be available round-the-clock as CCTVs have been installed at important Puja pandals of the coal city and other famous locations of the district. Altogether, 425 Durga Puja pandals have been set up in the coal belt this year.
Naman said special focus has been given on wide coverage of the 'Pushpanjali' offerings to the Goddess in the mornings and the 'Maha Aarti' in the evenings.
