Pvt firm employee attacked, robbed of Rs 6 l collections

: An employee of a private company carrying Rs six lakh in cash as collections from the firm was attacked and relieved of the amount by some unidentified persons, police said today.
They said the man was travelling on a bike late last night after making the collections when some persons following him on a bike threw chill powder on his face, hit him on the head with a bottle and decamped with the bag containing the cash.
The victim was treated as an outpatient at a private hospital and discharged, they said.
