"We will be offering BSc Yoga to those having at least secured 55 per cent marks and passed 10+2," Shoolini University Pro-Vice Chancellor Prof Anil Khosla told a press meet here today.
The UGC had planned to induct yoga into the curriculum of public-funded universities, hoping to cash in on recent drive for the ancient discipline and its growing popularity across the world.
"Our move is aimed at enabling students to explore various job avenues in research, academiccs, management, sports, healthcare and hospitality sectors," Khosla, VC of the private university, explained.
