"These offices are set up in Rawnda, Burundi, Botswana, Madagascar, Zambia and Zimbabwe, Parul University Vice President Devanshu Patel told reporters here yesterday.
The reasons behind setting up these offices in these countries is to enable students of respective countries to study in Vadodara of Gujarat.
The colleges are offering courses in Pharmacy, Business management and engineering as they do not exist in these countries or cannot be pursued due to availability of less number of seats, Patel said.
He claimed that the university's initiative of opening up of offices in these countries has witnessed a rise in foreign students as 305 foreign nationals from these six nations besides 25 others including Afghanistan, Srilanka, Bhutan, Bangladesh etc have been admitted into these courses, he said.
