Quack booked for rape, blackmail of woman

A quack and his friends have been booked on the charges of allegedly raping a 50-year-old woman and blackmailing her by filming the act since last year, police said today.
In her complaint, the woman alleged that she used to go to the quack, Umesh, for the treatment of her husband. One day, the accused allegedly raped her and filmed it, they said.
Later Umesh along with his friends used the video to blackmail and rape her, police said.
"The woman alleged that Umesh and his friends had been raping her," SHO Harmara police station Vikram Singh said.
An FIR in this connection was lodged last Tuesday following a local court's directive, they said, adding no arrests have been made so far.
