Quack couple arrested

A quack couple, who had been practising medicine for about 20 years at a village near Sayalgudi in the district were arrested today, police said.
Karunanidhi (58) and his wife Sulakshana(55) were running an allopathic clinic without qualification at their house in T Mariyur village for about 20 years.
Preliminary investigations revealed that Karunanidhi had passed only 10th standard and his wife Sulakshana had Pre University Course qualification, they said.
