Quentin Tarantino has wished good luck to Ben Affleck for taking on the role of Batman but the director said he does not find the character of Caped Crusador very interesting.
The Oscar-winning writer-director believes Michael Keaton was the best Batman, reported Huffington Post quoting an interview that Tarantino gave to French magazine Les Inrockuptibles.
"I have to admit that I don't really have an opinion," said in the interview which was translated by Indiewire's The Playlist.
"Why? Because Batman is not a very interesting character. For any actor. There is simply not much to play. I think Michael Keaton did it the best, and I wish good luck to Ben Affleck. But, you know who would have made a great Batman? Alec Baldwin in the '80s."
Affleck's casting as Batman had made him a butt of many online jokes and memes but Affleck said he was ready to take on the role in the upcoming sequel to Superman reboot.
