Radhika, who had a long hiatus after Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury's award-winning 'Antoheen' due to her sabattical to London, is to turn up in debutant film maker Soukarya Ghosal's Pendulam which strings five simultaenous incidents together.
"I had always wanted to act in substantial roles in Bengali films, where the directors show a deft sensibility. I couldn't take up projects after Antoheen in 2007 as I was away. Now I am all for it if any good project comes my way," the 'Shor in the city' actor said.
"I found the role interesting and, of course, the story, which has interesting turns," she said.
In Pendulum, the other main woman character is being etched by Sreelekha Mitra, after her superlative performance as a nagging housewife in Anik Dutta's Aschorjwo Prodip.

"In Pendulum all the characters are inter-related and one reason of choosing Radhika in such a role is she is a director's delight and fits in the role of a modern, Bengali girl working in corporate world," Soukarya said.
Produced by Cozum Analytics, Pendulum will be released by end of this month.
