Radio Mirchi MD and CEO Prashant Panday said the FM station worked with Papon to bring the best music and the most relevant content to the people of Guwahati.
The station to be conducted in Assamese language would air Assamese modern songs, Bollywood, popular culture songs as well as international music which appeal to the youth, Panday said.
The programme content would be geared towards 20-year olds, he said.
Angarag, who was honoured as the Vocalist of the Year at the recent Mirchi Music Awards 2016, has handpicked the songs and provided the inputs for the shows that will be aired on Radio Mirchi 05 FM, said the CEO of the private FM radio broadcaster operating from 37 cities in the country.
"I have given my inputs on the song list and the shows for the Radio Mirchi Guwahati product that will surely strike a chord with the listeners," he added.
