Raghu Ram conferred prestigious Dr BC Roy award

The Association of Breast Surgeons of India, president, Dr P Raghu Ram has been conferred the prestigious Dr BC Roy National Award by President Pranab Mukherjee in Rashtrapati Bhavan.
Raghu Ram, who is also the director, KIMS-Ushalakshmi Centre for breast diseases, has been conferred the award under the category 'Outstanding services in the field of Socio Medical Relief' for 2016, a release issued here said today.
Under the auspices of Ushalakshmi Breast Cancer Foundation, Raghu Ram has created awareness about importance of early detection of breast cancer in the Telangana and Andhra Pradesh through a number of initiatives, the release added.
