The auction, put up by the actor and his NGO 'The Foundation' also includes Sania Nehwal's signed T-shirt, her racquet, original manuscript of celebrated author Ruskin Bond's "A Flight of Pigeons" with a personally signed copy, legendary cartoonist RK Laxman's three hand drawn originals of "Four Decades of the Common Man" (1970-2010), artist Manjit Bawa's signed sketch from "Acrobat" series and Pandit Shiv Kumar Sharma's early 'Santoor'.
"It (response) has been overwhelming - the massive size of Mumbai's heart always amazes me. We exceeded our expectations and we promise to meet our donors' expectations," Bose said in a statement.
The proceeds from the auction have been directed towards the efforts of The Foundation to create a world free of discrimination.
