Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi today emphasised the need for strengthening unity in the Kerala unit of the party.
Gandhi, who interacted with senior Congress functionaries and leaders of UDF allies, said internal issues in the state unit should be resolved through discussions.
"Whatever little problems are there in the party will be resolved," Gandhi said during a brief chat with meidapersons.
Later, addressing the extended KPCC executive at the party headquarters Indira Bhavan, he called upon the entire party to remain united for ensuring victory in the civic and Assembly polls in the state.
Meanwhile, KPCC contributed Rs 1 crore to the AICC from funds raised from party workers during the Janapaksha Yatra campaign of the state unit president V M Sudheeran.
Gandhi had yesterday addressed a massive rally here to mark the conclusion of the month-long Janapaksha Yatra.
