Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi will make a second visit to Bihar on April 16 to address an election rally in minority-dominated Araria in favour of party nominee from Kisanganj Lok Sabha seat.
Rahul Gandhi's visit to Araria on April 16 was announced by state party media in-charge Prem Chand Mishra here today.
State Congress President Ashok Choudhary has sent instructions to the district unit for making arrangements for the rally at Araria to garner votes for party Kisanganj nominee Maulana Asrarul Haque, he said.
This will be Rahul Gandhi's second visit to Bihar, having 40 Lok Sabha seats, for campaigning for the Parliamentary elections.
He had addressed his maidan election meeting at Aurangabad in support of former Kerala governor Nikhil Kumar on April 1.
