Mocking Congress Vice-President Rahul Gandhi for storming into the Well in Lok Sabha today, BJP said his action and accusations against the Speaker of being partial was a "poor attempt" to express that he was "also there".
"Rahul Gandhi jumping into the well and accusing Speaker Sumitra Mahajan of being partial is a poor attempt to express 'Main Bhi Hoon Na' (I am also here)," senior BJP leader Siddharth Nath Singh told PTI.
Gandhi, who has been accused of being inactive in Parliament, was in the forefront when Congress along with other opposition parties created an uproar in Lok Sabha during the day demanding urgent discussion on the communal situation in the country.
The combative Congress vice-president, who is a third time member of the House, entered the well for the first time to join his party members in demanding an adjournment motion on the issue which was opposed by the government.
