The worker was engaged in construction work of Jiribam (on Manipur-Assam border) - Tupul (near Imphal) railway line
Official sources said the victim, hailing from Assam's Karimganj district, was identified as Riaz Ahmad (25). He was travelling to Tupul at around 4 p.M. Yesterday. The victim was from Karimganj district of Assam.
The post mortem was conducted at Jiribam hospital and body handed over to the railway authorities, sources said.
