Railway Inspector arrested with illicit liquor in Reasi

An Inspector of the railway department was arrested and over 60 pouches of illicit liquor was seized from his possession in the Katra area of Reasi district of Jammu and Kashmir, a Government Railway Police (GRP) official said.
Arun Kumar, working as Inspector in the operation and freight wing of the railway department in Katra, was arrested yesterday when Railway Police conducted a raid at his office and seized 62 pouches of illicit liquor, the official said.
According to the official, the Inspector was arrested and booked under various sections of the Excise Act at Railway Police Station in Katra, adding that an investigation has been initiated.
