Rain brings relief to Patna

Rains lowered temperature in Patna and brought relief to the people in the city grappling with the sweltering heat for the past many days.
According to the MeT office bulletin, the Bihar capital recorded 39.6 mm rainfall while Gaya and Bhagalpur experienced trace.
Patna registered a maximum temperature of 27.4 degrees Celsius while temperature in Gaya stood at 35.2 degrees Celsius, the bulletin said.
Bhagalpur and Purnea recoded a maximum of 36.7 degrees Celsius and 37 degrees Celsius respectively, it said.
The state weather office forecast partly cloudy sky with possibility of rains and thunderstorm tomorrow, the MeT office said.
