Heavy rains delayed the start of a Group A Oppo Champions League Twenty20 match between Chennai Super Kings and Lahore Lions here today.
With incessant rains lashing the M Chinnaswamy stadium here, the field is under cover and the umpires will take stock of the situation once the rain abates.
"The drizzle in Bengaluru is intermittent. Covers going on and off continuously. Teams are warming up, no word on the toss," CLT20 organisers said on Twitter.
"Right. The rain has gotten heavier, forcing the players off the field. This is getting frustrating," they added.
Chennai Super Kings have lost their first match before defeating the Dolphines in their last game to be placed behind table-toppers Kolkata Knight Riders in Group A.
Lahore, on the other hand, have lost the only match that they played against Kolkata.
