Flood and rains claimed 22 lives in the state in last couple of days till yesterday.
"There was some let up in the rainfall activities in the state today," India Meteorological Department Bhopal Centre's Director, Dr Anupam Kashyapi, told PTI.
"Monsoon is going to weaken over the state in next two to three days," he said.
East MP today received a meagre rainfall while the south-west parts did receive rains at few places abundantly, the official said.

He said some flooding has been reported from Sehore district but the situation was under control.
According to weather warning issued by the Meteorological centre, heavy to very heavy rainfall is expected to lash isolated places over Hoshangabad, Betul, Harda, Khandwa, Ujjain, Dewas, Sehore, Dhar, Ratlam districts in next 24 hours.
Heavy rains are likely to occur at few places over Bhopal, Indore, Burhanpur, Khargone, Barwani, Jhabua, Alirajpur, Shajapur, Chhindwara, Mandla, Seoni, Narsinghpur, Raisen districts in next 24 hours.
