Rain keeps temperatures at moderate level in Bihar

Intermittent rain in Patna and other parts of Bihar kept the temperature at comfortable level today.
The MeT Department here has forecasted generally cloudy sky with light rains in Patna and Gaya.
Bhagalpur recorded 1.2 mm of rainfall while it was 20.5 mm in Purnea, it said.
Patna registered a maximum temperature of 32.2 degrees Celsius, while Gaya recorded a maximum of 31.8 degrees Celsius.
Mecury in Bhagalpur settled at 33.6 degrees Celsius and 32.2 degrees Celsius in Purnea, the weatherman said.
Many areas of Kosi region of the state are witnessing floods due to heavy rains in Nepal whose over-flooded river water has flown towards the region.

The state government has already initiated the relief work for flood-hit people.
