Several parts of the state witnessed a thunderstorm, with Tissa and Saluni in Chamba district recording 22.4 mm and 18.0mm rainfall respectively.
Kotkhai received 12.1 mm rainfall, followed by Jubbal and Palampur 11 mm each, Kheri 10 mm, Sarahan and Keylong 9 mmn each and Manali 7.3 mm.
Una was the hottest in the region with maximum temperature settling at at 36.4 degrees Celsius, while Sundernagar and Bhuntar recorded a high of 33.9 degrees Celsius and 32.3 degrees Celsius respectively, followed by Nahan 31.5 degrees Celsius, Dharamsala 30.8 degrees Celsius, Shimla and Solan 24.1 degrees Celsius each, Manali 21.6 degrees Celsius and Kalpa 19.6 degrees Celsius.
The local MeT office has predicted rains or thundershowers at isolated places in mid and lower hills and rains and snow at higher hills at isolated places over the next six days as another Western Disturbance lies over the region.
