The link roads were closed in some parts of Sirmaur, Kangra and Mandi districts while the Pathankot-Jogindernagar railway line remained closed due to landslides for tenth day today.
13 per cent excess rains in Himachal during the month of August have helped in reducing the shortfall in monsoon rains from 32 per cent to 19 per cent.
The state received 308 mm of rain in September, 33 mm above normal while the cumulative precipitation during the monsoon increased to 542 mm, 19 per cent less than the normal of 665 mm bringing the situation near to normal.
Paonta Sahib and Nahan in Yamuna catchments areas got 107 mm and 77 mm of rains while Baldwara and Nagrota in Kangra district received 59 mm and 50 mm of rains till this morning.
Hamirpur had 39 mm of rains while Dharamsala, Chirapunji of North had 21 mm of rains followed by Nurpur 18 mm, Jogindernagar 17 mm, Rampur 15 mm, Mandi and Sangrah 11 mm each and Ghamroor 10 mm.

Sundernagar which had 8 mm of rains recorded a high of 27.6 deg against 33.7 deg yesterday, a drop of six deg while Bhuntar recorded maximum temperature at 30.9 deg against 32.6 deg C yesterday.
Una was hottest in the region with a high of 35.2 deg while Dharamsala recorded maximum temperature at 27.6 deg, followed by Solan and Nahan 27 deg and Kalpa 23.6 deg C.
Manmohan Singh, Director local MeT department said that a deficit of surplus of less than 20 per cent was considered normal as per the meteorological norms and with more rains expected during first half of September, situation would further improve.
