Several places in Udaipur and Jodhpur divisions and a few in Bikaner division received rainfall during the last 24 hours.
Gangapur received 11 cm rainfall followed by Malpura (9 cm), Todaraisingh, Arai and Bansur (all 8 cm), Paota, Bamanwas and Mount Abu (all 7 cm), Nadoti, Tonk tehsil and Bakani (6 cm) and 1 to 5 cm rainfall at various places across the eastern region of the state.
In western Rajasthan, Bhadra received 9 cm rainfall followed by Parbatsar (8 cm), Raipur and Didwana (both 5 cm). Several other places recorded 1 to 5 cm rainfall in the western region, weather officials said.
MeT department has predicted rainfall as likely to occur in various parts of the state during the next 24 hours.
Amid rainfall for the second consecutive day in the state, mercury fell by 1 to 3 degrees Celsius from yesterday.
With 37.3 degree Celsius, Bikaner was recorded the hottest place followed by Jaisalmer (36), Churu and Ganganagar (both 33.5), Kota (33.4), Ajmer and Jodhpur (both 33).
