Rains in some places brings respite from heat, but Jaisalmer

Rains in few places in east Rajasthan and in isolated places in western parts of the state brought some respite to people from heat wave conditions.
According to MeT department, Ajmer recorded 6 cm rainfall followed by Sallopat (Banswara) and Ajmer Tehsil which received 5 cm each.
Sajjangarh in Banswara received 4 cm rainfall Begu in Chhittorgarh and Nasirabad in Ajmer got 3 cm each in the last 24 hours ending at 8.30 am today.
Traces were recorded till 5. 30 pm today in Dabok.
Jaisalmer was the hottest place in the state with temperature sizzling at 45 degrees Celsius. It was followed by Barmer with 44.6 degrees Celsius, Bikaner 43.6 degrees Celsius, Jodhpour 42.5 degrees Celsius, Churu 42 degrees Celsius, Ganganagar 40.9 degrees Celsius, Kota 40 degrees Celsius, Jaipur 39 degrees Celsius, Dabok 38.6 degrees Celsius, Ajmer 38.2 degrees Celsius and 37.4 degrees Celsius in Pilani.
The MeT department has predicted dust storm and traces of rainfall at isolated places in the state.
The weathermen have warned of duststorm or gusty winds at isolated places in the state during next 24 hours.
