Karhal received 12 cm rainfall, followed by Kanpur dehat at 11 cm and Bindki 8 cm. Katerniaghat, Mauranipur and Baberu received 7 cm rainfall each, they said.
Meanwhile, major rivers continued to flow above the danger level at a number of places in the state, Central Water Commission officials said.
Ganga was flowing close to the danger level from Fatehgarh to Kanpur. Sharda was flowing above the red mark at Paliakalan in Lakhimpur district.
Ghaghra was flowing above the danger level at Elgin Bridge in Barabanki, Ayodhya and Turtipar in Ballia, while Rapti was above the red mark at Birdghat in Gorakhpur.
