A fresh western disturbance causing precipitation over the state brought rainfall in the region, the report said.
Churu received a rainfall of 4.2 mm, followed by Pilani at 3.4 mm.
Mercury shot up by one to four degrees C at many places in the state.
Mount Abu was the coldest place on hills with a low of 8 degree C, while Sriganganagar recorded a minimum of 8.7 degree C.
In Jaipur mercury showed an upward trend with a minimum of 9.9 degree C last night, 3.9 degrees more than previous night.

Eight trains of NWR were also running late from 20 mts to 12 hrs due to fog, an official spokesman said.
Hawara-Jodhpur/Bikaner train is running 12 hrs late followed by Allahabad-Jaipur and Kanpur-Bhiwani by 7:30 hrs each and Varanasi-Jodhpur by 6:30 hrs, the official said.
Five trains were rescheduled on the Rajasthan network, he said.
Mercury may dip in next 24 hours in the state as the western disturbance would phase out from Rajasthan giving clear sky and allowing northerly cold winds to enter the region, a MeT forecast said.
