Ambala recorded a high of 33.4 degrees Celsius while Hisar's maximum temperature settled at 34.7 degrees Celsius, down two notches against normal, the MeT Department said here.
While Karnal registered a high of 32.4 degrees Celsius, one notch below normal, Chandigarh recorded a high of 33.7 degrees Celsius.
In Punjab, Ludhiana, Patiala, Ropar, Phagwara received rainfall.
Amritsar recorded a high of 32.9 degrees Celsius, down two notches while Ludhiana registered a maximum of 34.1 degrees Celsius.
The MeT has forecast more rains in the two states over the next few days.
