Rains lash Nashik; farmers relieved

After a long gap, heavy rains today lashed Nashik city and its adjoining areas providing much needed relief to farmers.
Normal life was thrown out of gear as there was water logging at some places in the city. There was water logging in Sadhu Gram - where Sadhus, Seers among others are residing for the ongoing Kumbh Mela.
This year, rains have been inadequate in this region and become a cause of worry for farmers.
