Rains lash parts of Haryana and Punjab

Light to moderate rains lashed parts of Haryana and Punjab, MeT department said here today.
Chandigarh was lashed by 10.8 mm of showers, turning the weather pleasant here.
In Haryana, Ambala received 12.3 mm of rain, Hisar 4.4 mm while heavy showers lashed Karnal at 38 mm.
In Punjab showers were experienced in Patiala (7.6 mm), Ludhiana (2 mm) and Mohali (10 mm).
