Ranchi received 39.2 mm rainfall, the MeT office said, adding it was partly cloudy in several districts where the maximum temperature ranged between 34 degrees and 39 degrees C.
The forecast for the next 24 hours is partly cloudy with rain or thundershower at isolated places, a MeT official said.
