The Delhiites experienced a hot and sultry weather today as rains continued to elude the national capital and the humidity level remained high.
The maximum was recorded normal at 33.7 degrees, whereas the minimum stood a notch above normal at 26.5 degrees Celsius, Met officials said.
The high level of humidity, which oscillated between 60 and 71 per cent, making the residents sweat throughout the day.
The weatherman has predicted a generally cloudy sky with possibility of very light rains or thundershowers in some areas tomorrow.

South-west monsoon has been active over east UP and vigorous over western parts of the state.
Met office said chief amount of rainfall recorded in mm are: Nazibabad 140; Rath 130 mm; Moradabad 110 mm, Bareilly 90 mm; Bansgaon, Hardoi, Mirzapur, Swar, Pawayan, Kasganj and Aonla 70 mm each; Azamgarh, Karchana and Turtipar 60 mm each.
Central Water Commission sources said that Ganga and otehr rivers like Yamuna, Ghaghra and Sharda were flowing above the danger mark at several places during their courses.
