Raj Bhawan to host toppers' conclave next month

The highest scoring students of the government-run universities in Uttarakhand will attend a five-day toppers conclave at Raj Bhawan here from August 3.
The first of its kind event to be held in the state is being held at the initiative of Governor K K Paul and it will also be attended by Vice Chancellors of the universities concerned, OSD and Secretary to the Governor Arun Dhaundiyal said here today.
Noted mathematician and Vice Chancellor of Kumaun University H S Dhami, former chief secretary R S Tolia, famous agricultural scientist and Vice Cancellor of Pant Nagar Agricultural University Mangla Rai will be among a host of dignitaries to attend the event.

Methods to boost the confidence of students, creating more opportunities and better atmosphere for skill development, resource management, climate change and good governance are some of the issue which will come up for deliberations at the conclave.
