Raj BJP asks MLAs to follow House rules to work effectively

Rajasthan Home Minister G C Kataria today asked first-time BJP MLAs to adept themselves with the rules and procedure of the Assembly so that they can intervene effectively in issues concerning the people.
The MLAs should use their power on important issues related to finances and legislative business like bills in the House, Kataria said delivering a lecture on 'legislators and legislature' during a BJP MLAs' training programme here today.
Since BJP got an overwhelming public mandate, every party MLA should work for the people with devotion, honesty and responsibility, a party release said, quoting Kataria.
MLAs should also take part in various House committees and read audit reports minutely, he said.

The party used to take any work as a "mission" hence MLAs should inform public in right perspectives of every plan and work being carried out by the government, BJP's national vice-president Vinay Sahastrabudhey said at the meet.
Professor Satish Batra said MLAs should introspect and assess his or her capability to work and every one should have a goal in life.
Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje, BJP national Joint General Secretary (Organisation) V Satish and party state chief Ashok Parnami were present on the occasion.
