State BJP president Ashok Parnami also refused to comment on documents having signature of Vasundhara Raje saying context and content of the signature was not clear so it would not be appropriate to say anything on that.
In a hurriedly convened press conference at the party ofice here, Parnami and Health Minister Rajendra Rathore said that it was not an issue and has not affected the party.
"BJP central leadership, BJP legislaure party are with Raje. The party leadership has not sought any explanation because it is a not an issue. As far as the documents which are being shown in the media today are concerned, we cannot say anything on that because contents for which the signatures have been made are not clear clear," Parnami told reporters.
Raje was alleged to have agreed to become a witness to the former IPL czar's immigration application provided it was kept a secret in India. She had later claimed that she did not recall having signed such a document.
Displaying the seven-page document having 21 points, Congress leader said the Congress seeks her immediate resignation as she has broken four laws - Indian Penal Code, Prevention of Corruption Act, PMLA, Passport Act, while batting for a "bhagora" (fugitive).
