"Companies have shown interest in making investment in the state and ahead of the Resurgent Rajasthan, and Cabinet in its meeting today approved seven proposals, which would bring investments worth Rs 3,981 crore," Parliamentary Affairs Minister Rajendra Rathore told reporters here today.
The companies interested in investing money will be given customised packages under Rajasthan Investment Promotion Scheme - 2014 to set up their facilities in the state, he added.
The Minister informed that companies manufacturing mobile phones and electronic items, ATM, cotton yarn, steel, among others will set up their plants at different locations after getting customised packages.
"Those seven proposals would generate employment for approximately 17,000 people, he said.
The Cabinet also reviewed the progress in revenue campaign 'Nyay Apke Dwar' and expressed satisfaction over its progress, he added.
