Rajasthan's Chief Election Officer A K Jain, in a meeting with state officials, directed them to ensure proper arrangements during the polling process.
The police officers have been issued necessary directions regarding deployment of security personnel in and around state Assembly and other issues related to security, state Additional Director, General Police Navdeep Singh said.
After the meeting, Jain inspected the arrangements in the Assembly premises.
Officiating Secretary of the legislative assembly K M Gupta, District Collector Naveen Mahajan, Police Commissioner B L Soni, Joint Chief Election Officer P C Gupta and other senior state officials were present in the meeting.
